We believe that all people should be following a lifelong learning plan, encouraged and inspired by a mentor or set of mentors that follows them beyond school, and starts before school. We believe that all people have special skills and abilities in one or more area that they are able to pass on to others in some form of training. We believe people can be enabled to deliver those skills and abilities to motivated learners near to their homes.
The Learning Street nurtures a membership community of learners - connecting great educators, aggregating great learning, and building great infrastructure for local lifelong learning.

Local communities of blended learners, "The Village S!cool". More local friends, more walks to school, more peaceful people. More energy for learning and parenting.
Vision
Everyone in the world has access to fast affordable internet as a source for learning and communication. Everyone has a great local communitiy itn which to learn and grow, and in which to share their skills and experience with others.
Goals
Long - Learning Spaces with Learning groups across the world. Central hubs in 527 cities reaching out to and supporting local "S!cools" and "Un!iversities"

Short - One hub and 144 S!cools as a model for others to follow

The Learning Street creates and aggregates great learning from people with passion, supported by some of the world's best technology, and delivers this to a local membership community along the street. The intention is to start from a small base in Vienna and then to build learning communities on 527 streets around the world.
We believe that all people have special skills and abilities in one or more areas of their passion that they are able to pass on to others in some form of training. We enable these people to deliver those skills to our membership.
We believe that all people should be following a lifelong learning plan, encouraged and inspired by a mentor or set of mentors that follows them beyond school, and starts before school age. We work to co-create learning plans with our members, to inspire and motivate them, and to mentor them through their lifelong learning.

Great places for learning..
A Learning Space is designed as a safe space for learning in a group, like a library or a coffee shop, or a club room - but designed specifically for 12 people and a coach, with art on the wall and wifi. It is designed to be in a shop or shop in shop on the street, under a tree in hot climes, perhaps a tent or large umbrella in other areas or in pop up events in the park. The main thing is its a space for twelve learners to come together for 45 or 90 minutes in a group, either all learning the same thing, or all learning their own thing but together ( ie online in a group ) Its a membership community, made sustainable by the core groupof 144 people ( 12 x 12, paying a 33 euro/pound/dollar membership fee in return for one hour per week of premium/paid training, for example in Austria an English lesson for Austrians or a German lesson for migrants. So thats for 12 hours per week, leaving plenty of time for other paid offerings, or free to all or free to some offerings... :-)

Learn together in a group with a coach, 5 x 90 minutes, using apps that give you personalised training at our own speed, a group for motivation and a coach for guidance as required. Then get together with 5 learners and 2-5 native speakers for a speed talking session to practice what you learned!
a. pilot hour, come and try the apps in a small group with coach
b. try the 22 hour test, is it the same as a college semester ?
c. Join a group of 5 learners for 5 sessions with coach, followed by a session of 5 learners with 5 natives... then repeat if happy.
